Zazu

This is what's on my design wall at the moment. I have to sew the pieced border strips on and then three more border strips after that. This is based on a design found on Judy's blog. The pattern is Peaches & Dreams. I've changed my version slightly. When you go to Judy's blog look on the right side of her page and you will find lots of free patterns.

For my quilt I have used fabric designed by Tina Givens. It is called Zazu. I just love it!

Wow, that doesn't even look like the same pattern as the Peaches and Dreams. I just love how the use of colour can totally change the look of a pattern. Spectacular looking quilt.

Well isn't that pretty. Talk about fabrics determining the feel of a quilt, this is it. Looks completely different when done in tone on tone. I Love the way it gives almost a colorwash affect. Great job!
